Enable Commenting

You can enable the comment tool to any page of your website. This lets visitors publicly comment on the page, which is particularly useful for blog and article sections of the site.

The commenting form will appear at the bottom of the web page and the comment must be approved by you before it is published to your website.

Enable Commenting Tool

To enable commenting:

  1. Tick the 'Comments' check box on the top right corner of the editor window (above image). to have a comment form placed at the bottom of a webpage.

Once a comment is submitted the document owner will receive an email notification from MoST - this notification will contain the commenter's name, comment and the URL of the page it would appear on.

Comment Approval

To approve or reject a comment:

  1. Open your MoST interface.
  2. Highlight the document that has been commented on by selecting its name listed under the 'FILENAME' heading.
  3. Click 'DOCUMENTS' menu item from the tool bar at the top of your MoST page. A drop-down menu will appear.
  4. Click 'COMMENTS' option to open the 'DOCUMENT COMMENTS' dialog window (above image).
  5. Click the comment awaiting approval.
  6. Click 'Approve' to have it posted on your website, or select 'Unapprove' if you don't want it to appear on your website.
  7. Click 'Apply' to save changes.

Delete Existing Comment

To delete an existing comment:

  1. Highlight the document that has been commented on by selecting its name listed under the 'FILENAME' heading.
  2. Click 'DOCUMENTS' menu item from the tool bar at the top of your MoST page. A drop-down menu will appear.
  3. Click 'COMMENTS' option to open the 'DOCUMENT COMMENTS' dialog window (above image).
  4. Select the comment that you want delete.
  5. Click 'Delete', and then 'Apply' to save changes.

Note

The comment form does not appear in preview mode.
