With MoST you can attach a downloadable file link to text and when an end-user selects the hyperlinked text they will be given the option of opening or saving the file. Such files are typically Microsoft word, office or abode PDF in format and can be managed via 'INSERT FILE' dialog window (below image).
Steps to attach a file to text:
To attach a file that has already been uploaded to MoST, find and select it under 'FILENAME'. Otherwise, select 'Browse..' to upload a new file from your local hard drive.
Select the 'Searchable' tick box if you want the file to be accessible in website search feature.
Select 'OK' to save changes.
Note |
If you upload a file in a password restricted area it will remain password restricted when moved to a public area. In order to change the files permissions, you will need to upload the file again in the new location. Files can be replaced, renamed, made searchable and deleted. To delete all links to the file must be removed. Keep consistent with file naming in order to make files easier to locate and remove.
